  • Finally! After so many days/weeks/months of hard work, no sleep, sweat, pain, blood and whatnots, our magazine, BOLD, is finally completed and handed in on friday. Thank god, really, because I've never felt so relieved in my entire life before, and I've never treasured sleep that much before either. Don't belittle this 20-page magazine here because you have no idea how much work was put into producing this little baby, this expensive baby...

So yes, it's sunday again and after today, tomorrow's officially the start of the last week of year 2 school (minus the fact that we've got exams to study for), but omg I honestly can't wait for wednesday next week because after wednesday, we've officially ended our projects/assignments and what nots, and then I can go shopping for my chinese new year clothes without any worries (it's not the time to worry about exams yet), and not think about anything other than just having fun - which i have been having the entire weekend!

This weekend has been awesome for one damn obvious reason - no more photoshop/indesign for feature writing. Enough of harping on feature writing/school, but honestly, I'm so so so relieved! After handing in magazine on friday, went to greatworldcity for dinner at kushinbo w family and agnes jiejie and soonheng korkor. It was so awesome I swear, that meal really made up for the lack of proper meals during the entire week we were rushing work. I ate 5 bowls of scallop ginseng porridge, 20 crab leg/pincer thingums, shabu shabu, and many other random things here and there. For dessert it was like cream puffs, ice cream and hot hot hot sake which was so good.

Saturday was last k-class in the afternoon, and then early reunion dinner with family, adele and boklai of which we had wine and cognac and then after that I went to Clarke Quay to meet kenny. Pub-hopped from Highlander to Mulligans to Clinic to Indochine. Awesome night I must say! We tried the cranberry vodka syringe thingy from Clinic which was pretty amazing I must say, given that I'm not a big fan of vodka. And then at Indochine, there was this -14 degrees celsius cold room. By the end of the night, the both of us were quite nua already after pub-hopping, and doing crazy stuff, so we nua-ed a little more and headed to the cold room after that to experience the cold. Only vodka shots were available inside. Imagine the coldness we felt, hands couldn't stop trembling and I swear the shot-glasses were all shaky and all that as well. Thank god it was just a short 5 minutes, any longer and I think we could have died! Good experience though! Chilled a little while and watched the reverse bungee in action by the river before heading home.

Today, woke up at 12 .. nua-ed .. nua-ed some more ... nau-ed a little more and watched Hachiko: A Dog's Tale. Most beautiful movie ever I must say! I couldn't stop crying. I didn't even attempt to control myself from crying, I just locked my room door and wailed wailed and wailed ... and after that movie, I just laid on my bed, feeling sad ... and then I went back to sleep again. Damn unproductive day I must say, but hey! I'm definitely not complaining. It's so stress-free and relaxing to spend sundays like that ... I like i like i like! I wish every sunday could be like that.

Exactly one more week to CNY/Valentine's, and honestly speaking ... I'm not looking forward to it as much anymore ... oh well. Bye!
